Events

We are hosting a series of events within the Shared Vision exhibition. 

Location: The Old Truman Brewery, London (Shop 7, Dray Walk, 91 Brick Lane, E1 6QL). Open to the public from 28 September to 7 October 2018, 10:00am - 5:00pm. Entrance: Free.  

  • Private View (Thursday 27th September, 6 pm)

An invitation-only private viewing with exhibition curators and Project Light collaborators Julie Freeman and Yana Buhrer Tavanier (co-founders of Fine Acts), Andrew Bastawrous (CEO of Peek Vision), and contributing artists. Plus readings from artists Karen McCarthy Woolf and Mandy Redvers-Rowe.

  • Curator’s Tour (Saturday 29th September, 2pm)

Led by Fine Acts’ Yana Buhrer Tavanier and Julie Freeman.

  • 'Designing for Change', talk and demonstration (Tuesday 2nd October, 6:30pm)

Peek’s Nigel Bolster and Vince Hewitt discuss designing technology to transform healthcare in low and middle income settings, and demonstrate Peek's award winning software and app which is enabling global access to eye care. RSVP here

  • Late night opening (Thursday 4th October, till 9 pm)
